The Lonely World of the Colon

If you have ventured in here, you have discovered a wonderful, if somewhat demented, page dedicated to the lowly Colon. Colons are sweet, loveable critters that travel the net in Herds. Shunned by millions, loved by few, these poor creatures lead a rather lonely existance. They roam the net in search of mischief, usually within ichat sites, where abusing Colons seems all the rage. The Herd rescues their lost comrades from the Abusive Ones. Slowly but surely, the Herd has grown in size to the point where these Colons are now fending for themselves against their Abusers. Indeed, the lowly Colon is now a force to be reckoned with!

A Leader Emerges

Although the Herd is often shunned by many, the Herd has adopted one from the Abusers to lead them. Colons view their Leader with great awe and will go through great lengths to protect him. This Leader has an undying devotion to his Herd and is striving to change his abusive counterparts. In turn, the Leader is often ridiculed for his actions and quite often retaliates by unleashing the Herd on the unsuspecting Abusers. Few have seen the Herd's fearless Leader.

Herd Tactics

As we said earlier, Colons always travel in Herds, never alone. Two main tactics have been witnessed widespread over the net: 1) Swarming; the Herd will often swarm around one or several Abusers. However, this tactic rarely provides the desired effect. 2) Subliminal Substitution; the Herd will sense any Colon abuse in progress and subliminally substitute their other great enemy, the Semi-Colon, unbeknownst to the Abusers. This effectively rescues another Colon from certain abuse. Subliminal Substitution is by far the greatest weapon the Herd has to protect its lost Colons.
